Districts
The city has 4 districts and 157 buildings. You start in Downtown South; promotions open the rest.
A district opens when you reach its rank. From then on its buildings can come up for sale on the Market, its clients turn up in your Pipeline, and you can prospect there. Each district keeps its own reputation, the stars that improve your cold calls there (see Brokerage), and its own price trend (see The market).
Starter district
Downtown South
The gritty, affordable heart of the city. Duplexes, walk-ups, corner shops, and small warehouses — perfect for a new investor cutting their teeth.

Prices are the buildings' base asking prices. In the game the market moves them: a boom lists them higher, a downturn lower. Bigger districts mean bigger buildings, bigger loans and bigger commissions, but also bigger down payments. The cash from commissions and refinances is what carries you from one district to the next.
